  Hello crafty friends! Only 28 days to Christmas and this year, it was a late start to my Christmas cardmaking endeavour. To stay positive, I am hoping I will be able to complete them by the 1st week of December. Here is one of the cards I've made this year and I am entering it into the following challenges: 1.  Christmas Craft Creations - November Challenge 2.  Peace on Earth Christmas Challenge #28 I used a Christmas-themed washi tape as the focal image of my card. I interpreted this theme as something beautiful and natural. I've always loved the fairytale "The Ugly Duckling" so I was excited to use the #digitalstamp from Sarah's Etsy store for this challenge.   Hi, my crafty friends! I am sharing another creation for the current Clever Dexter's April challenge . The theme for this month is "Use Watercolor". The optional colour palette for this challenge - Light Blue, Pale Orange, Rose Red, Teal and, Lime Green. I used the Cherry Cupcake digital stamp from Polkadoodles as the focal image for my card. I did a loose smooshing technique with my Kuretake Gansai Tambi watercolours for the background. Then, I embossed the area with an embossing folder. Here is a little guide on the colour wheel. Since this is the month of Love, I decided to go with the warm colour palette. I made a friendship Valentine card and I chose the Aim For The Heart Cupid digital stamp from Sarah's Etsy store. I blended the background in warm red and purple hues.
