A Rose By Any Other Name ...

Here's to another long weekend in May for us in Malaysia! A perfect excuse for crafting. I chose this digital stamp - Rose from The Paper Shelter because her hair is so much fun to colour. All the flowers and butterflies around her is reminiscent of a blooming springtime. I tried a subtle no-line colouring technique for this card with my Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils.

Used my Kuretake Gansai Tambi watercolours for the background and added white gouache splatter.   Hey, crafty friends! Hope you guys are getting started on your Christmas card making endeavours. This year I am feeling more inspired and decided to get started early. Here is a card I made using Rachelle Anne Miller's Kangaroo Christmas Surprise digital stamp . I love her unconventional festive designs featuring the wild lives of Australia. Coloured the image using my Copics Sketch Markers and used the Holly patterned paper from Aussie Christmas Paper Pack .
